My Westie Is Crying

This is just one of the posts on the Crazy About Westies forum.

*********************************************

I wasnt quite sure where to put this query but here goes:

Toby is 5 & for the last couple of days, including this morning, he’s been crying a lot & I don’t know why. He eats his food, drinks his water, goes for regular walks but at regular intervals he has started to cry, loudly.

For example this morning I got up, opened the back door at 8 am, & got ready for work. He cried from the moment I went down & this is the routine (minus the crying) we’ve always had since he was a baby.

His booster jab is due this month so I will ask the Vet to check him over but apart from this he seems fine has anyone any ideas?

Westie Puppies - Training Problems

- I guess you have heard all of the problems by now. I have had Maggie my Westie puppy for 6 days. And I certainly don’t think she should be trained yet. She seems to be getting the hang of peeing outside when I let her out but pooping, not so much. She will at times poop outside but it seems that she doesn’t more than does.

Then I bring her in thinking I will put her back out in a bit to try again and darned if she doesn’t do it in the house just when I turn my back for a second or she disappears for a few seconds. I do clean up the messes with a cleaning for that type of thing. My whole back yard is fenced in and after the first few days of being out there she seems to be thinking that outside is a big playpen.

I’m wondering if I it would help if I fenced off a small part of the yard, just off the steps, for her potty area and not let her just run the whole back yard while she is out for her duty
