Don’t Underestimate Westie Dogs

Pets referred to as Westie dogs are actually West Highland white terriers. Many pet lovers raise Westies as lap dogs because of their soft, dense all-white coat.

However, these pets despite being small and cuddly wound want to be treated more than a lap dog. Westie dogs are intelligent creatures as can be seen by the penetrating gaze of their bright, dark deep-set eyes.

Westies are easily trained, lively and make for a good traveling companion. Even as their compact size range only between 25 and 30 cm (10-12 inches).

Westies also make good watchdogs for they are brave, tough and love to bark.
