I wasnt quite sure where to put this query but here goes:
Westie puppies -potty potty training problems – It’s me again. I am at my wits end with Maggie and potty training. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. At 5 months, I would think she should be asking to go outside. Exactly the opposite. I swear, that she just has an attitude that she will not pee outside.

A really interesting question on the Crazy About Westies forum:

This isnt really a training problem, more a request for your thoughts. We have always used a collar and lead with Meg but after seeing some of your photos, I am now wondering whether to try her with a harness.

A litter of Westie puppies in the home, despite their being so adorable, entails a lot of responsibility which could be comparable as caring for a human baby.
The pet owner has to constantly check on the newborn pups to ensure that they are not cold and if the mother is feeding her litter well.
Usually, the Westie mom will stay with her puppies for the first several days after delivering the litter. Ensuring that the Westie puppies are warm becomes particularly crucial once their mother leaves her litter after one month.
Particular attention has to be devoted likewise to the mother who could display stress or aggressive behaviour if somebody comes near the Westie puppies.

Hi there, We brought our eight-week old Westie home two days ago and already love him to bits but are having all the typical problems.
My West Highland Terrier- My Friend. I came home last night, so tired and feeling grumpy. I think I must be coming down with something or it’s the winter’s blues.
