Westie puppies - poppy training problems -at wits end
Westie puppies -potty potty training problems - It’s me again. I am at my wits end with Maggie and potty training. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. At 5 months, I would think she should be asking to go outside. Exactly the opposite. I swear, that she just has an attitude that she will not pee outside.
I take her out and she will find anything to do besides pee. She scratches, picks up sticks, digs, I mean anything. Then she comes in and pees on the floor within a few minutes. I don’t know what to do. I’m really thinking that I will have go with a swat on the butt method. I hate to do that, but I am at my wits end.
Seriously I am actually crying over this. I don’t know what to do.

Westie Puppies - Training Problems
Westie puppies - I guess you have heard all of the problems by now. I have had Maggie my Westie puppy for 6 days. And I certainly don’t think she should be trained yet. She seems to be getting the hang of peeing outside when I let her out but pooping, not so much. She will at times poop outside but it seems that she doesn’t more than does.
Then I bring her in thinking I will put her back out in a bit to try again and darned if she doesn’t do it in the house just when I turn my back for a second or she disappears for a few seconds. I do clean up the messes with a cleaning for that type of thing. My whole back yard is fenced in and after the first few days of being out there she seems to be thinking that outside is a big playpen.
I’m wondering if I it would help if I fenced off a small part of the yard, just off the steps, for her potty area and not let her just run the whole back yard while she is out for her duty
