I do hope as
always that this newsletter finds you keeping well and
hope the better weather has cheered you all up. We seem to be bombarded
with just bad news and I do hope that the newsletter will bring some
cheer.
Life can be so
unpredictable
and tough at times and just when you think you have it
figured
out, something happens to change everything.. I hope that you
do
enjoy the inspirational quotes because at times they make some sense to
the changing and sometimes scary times that we live in.
I don't know if
you can identify with this quote, but I think that family life can be
like this sometime:

There
cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full.

I have also included a new section which features the best post of our
members on the forum. The credit must go to Mike who runs the forum and
also thw winners of the top posts.
Lastly I had been thinking about the lessons that I had learned to date
and one of the most important which has been learned from a lot of
pain,
is that what people think of you won't mean a damn thing tomorrow. For
the most important thing is that people will only like or love you as
much as you love yourself.
I wonder what lessons you have learned.
Please enjoy
this issue as there is plenty in this month.
I wonder if
anyone can put my mind at ease. For about a week and a half now, Meg is
refusing her morning meal, she is up for titbits of course, given the
chance, but just doesnt want her own food. She does eat her meal at tea
time. Do any of your Westies only have one meal a day? Is it normal for
them to cut a meal out themselves?
Elaine
----------------------------------------------
Elaine, I
always used to feed Daisy on one
meal a day (mid-afternoon) and she was fine on it. The reason I changed
it was because of her delicate tummy - the vet advised a small meal in
the morning (taken from her main meal of course) and it does suit her
better. She loves her breakfast and jumps up and down as I carry it to
her place mat.
Maybe Meg is not quite so hungry because of the warmer weather, but I
do know that two meals a day is ideal for Daisy. If, for any reason,
she does not eat it though, I don't give her extra in the afternoon.

Molly only has one meal a day, she has a
slice of toast in the morning and her markies at lunch time, but only
has 2 of these and then her main meal in the evening. Weather plays a
part in what they will or wont eat and when Elaine. I wouldnt worry
yourself about it Meg will eat if she is hungry

Posted by Pat: - I know I have
shown you Ham Hill loads of times but even Mick and I were surprised
today. The air quality was so good that we really could see for miles
and miles. Rosie seem mesmerised by the feeling of being 'on top of the
world' and kept wandering off in a world of her own just standing guard
over the entire panorama.
Had to finish with a shot of Rosie with a huge
grin
Sure she is saying "I love it here".
Well done to Pat for a great post with lovely pictures and also to Mike for organising the new feature.
"I've missed more than 9000
shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been
trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and
over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

Again take
care
of yourselves in this sometimes crazy world. As I keep saying in my

Try to be kind
to
those that you meet, because most of them will be fighting a bloody
hard battle of life.
You can give
