Lessons learnt from a Westie |
I read this somewhere and it applys so much to our Westie.
| Quote: |
| If you stare at someone long enough, eventually you'll get what you want. |
Or if you dance in a circle, beg, roll over many
times a row good things come your way..... from Di (who by the way, is
not doing a lot of dancing and waddles a lot.)

Our Westie member Betsie has lung cancer |
|
This Crazy About Westies site has some of the most loving and caring members from all over the world. We care deeply about our Westies and each other. Unfortunately one of the messages on the forum was:
-----------------
Every one, I've been trying to catch up with what has been going on in here lately. I just got out of the hospital where I've been diagnosed with lung cancer. Next week they are taking out part of my left lung and a lymph node where the cancer has also spread.
-----------------
The support of messages and prayers are many on the forum. It is lovely to see and it is nothing more than i would have expected. Life knocks at all of our doors. Appreciate your health please and if you have love, hold unto to it. It is so precious in a forever changing world. Try and be kind to those that you meet. In most cases they are fighting the hard battle of life.

My Westie Has a Floppy ear - Is This Normal |
|
A great question was posted on our Westie forum
--------------------------------------
Ok, I don’t mean to sound paranoid….
Roxy is a couple days shy of two months….one ear stands straight up, the other is flopped over….really cute, however, I really want both to stand straight up
Rocco is a bit over 4 months and both ears stand up…..
Is this normal

Member's Feedback

I am also very proud to be a member of the “Crazy about westies” forum, as it is a great place in which to “talk” to other westie owners,
Some live alone with just their westie for company, and the forum is a wonderful place in which to join in with all the “gossip” fun, and health related issues that a westie may get through life,
“A friend in need, is a friend indeed” and on this forum we have many sincere friends who have the West Highland Terrier at heart
