Westie rescue - Only A Handful Have Returned
I read an interesting fact online about the Westie Rescue of California. Please read below the information from the Tribune.

Westies - Look what Aibo - our Westie - has done to his ears
Last night while I was watching TV at midnight we saw Aibo licking his paw, and while I was checking his paw, Mike screamed, "he has blood on his ears!!" Shocked

It happens that the angel Evil or Very Mad scratched till he hurts his ears, the right is worse than the left...

I cleaned the wound with colloidal silver and desinfected it with a sollution that has a pain killer as well...

Today is much better, here are the pics on the Westie Forum:

Westie Walk October 14th 2007

Westie Walk - Full details and photos on the Westie forum and gallery

*******************************************

Mick, Jean and myself were so sorry that Mike, Maureen and Robbie and Roger, Haulwen Lisa and Holly weren't able to be there today. We did miss you guys.

BUT - we did have an amazing Day

The weather was really really good. There was a huge turnout of Westies but as the start times were staggered we obviously didn't get all of them in the group pics - we did get loads though  The by laws about dogs on the beach had been changed so we did the whole walk and were able to do about half of it along the beach, which was brilliant fun for the Westies. Jean treated Mick and I to a superb lunch at the end of it too

Why Did You Get A Westie

I set this question on our Westie Forum :

*******************************

I hope that this finds you all well. I would appreciate your kind help on the following question.

"Why did you get a Westie?"

To make this fair, I will give my answer. Basically why we got a Westie, was that I was outvoted by my wife and 2 sons who wanted a small dog and I had been used to larger dogs. They picked the Westie of a dog book that we have at home. One of the best decisions that has been made for this family.

Really look forward to your answers.

Jeff

hi Jeff

we decided to get a "dog" to help me with my agoraphobia and panic attacks the thinking was giving me a reason to get out and about.

david has had dogs all his life, mainly red setters, but i have been a fan of greyfriars bobby since childhood and have never had a pet before.

when i was "allowed" a dog, i immediately chose a westie and we've never looked back....i'm nagging at the moment for my second one!!!!!

snowy has been the perfect therapy pup, everytime she looks in my eyes i know i will give her everything she wants/needs regardless of how difficult it is for me.

I love this Forum as it gives me a chance to talk about my babies knowing others feel the same way about their babies too.

I've made some lovely friends here from all over the world and learnt a lot more about this wonderful breed of dog .
